Engine repair is workshop work. It needs a lift, diagnostic equipment and time, so we do not attempt it at the roadside. What we do at your location is the first check: read the fault codes, look for leaks, check coolant and oil, and decide if the car is safe to drive or should be carried in.

Many engine complaints in Dubai start with heat. Cooling systems work hard for most of the year, and a small coolant leak or a tired fan can turn into overheating in traffic. Can engine repair be done at my location?

Only the first check. A technician can scan fault codes, check fluids and look for obvious leaks where the car is parked. Actual engine repair needs a workshop with a lift and proper tools, so the car is driven in if it is safe or collected on a flatbed.

How long does an engine repair take?

It depends on the fault and on parts availability. A coil, sensor or hose is often a same-day job, while a head gasket or timing chain takes longer. The workshop gives you a time estimate once the fault is confirmed, not before.

Is it safe to drive with the check engine light on?

A steady light with the car driving normally usually means it should be checked soon. A flashing light, loss of power, overheating or an oil pressure warning means stop and switch off. In that case we arrange a flatbed instead of driving it in.

My car will not start. Is it the engine?

Often it is not. A weak battery, a loose terminal or a starter fault is more common than an engine failure. We test the battery and charging system first. If those are healthy and the engine still will not run, the car goes to the workshop for diagnosis.
