Who makes Amaron batteries and what they are known for
Amaron is made by Amara Raja, one of the two largest car battery manufacturers in India, with its plants in Andhra Pradesh. It is known for sealed, maintenance-free batteries in JIS sizes and for its green case, and it is a common fitment on Japanese and Korean cars across the Gulf.
Amaron in UAE heat
Amaron uses a silver-alloy grid, which the maker calls SILVEN, chosen to slow the grid corrosion that hot climates cause. The batteries are sealed and need no topping up. Indian summers are a tough proving ground, which is one reason the brand travels well to the UAE. Heat still shortens the life of every battery, so regular testing is worth doing.

Is Amaron a good choice for a Toyota or Nissan in the UAE?
Yes, for models without start-stop. Amaron makes the JIS sizes these cars use, the batteries are sealed, and the grid alloy is chosen for hot weather. Tell us the model and year and we will confirm the exact size and terminal side before the technician sets off.
Do Amaron batteries need water?
No. The Amaron car batteries we fit are sealed, maintenance-free types. There are no filler caps and nothing to top up. If a sealed battery is losing fluid or the case is swollen, the car is probably overcharging and the alternator should be tested.
What is the difference between Amaron Pro, Hi-Life and Go?
All three are sealed conventional batteries. Pro sits at the top with the most cranking power for a given size, Hi-Life is the mainstream line for saloons and SUVs, and Go is the simpler option for small cars. The right one depends on engine size and how the car is used.
Can I fit an Amaron in a start-stop car?
Not a conventional one. Start-stop cars need an EFB or AGM battery, and a standard battery will fail early and may switch the system off. If your car has start-stop, we will match the original type from a brand that makes it and tell you which before we come.
