Car Roadside Assistance: how we handle it

Many breakdowns in Dubai come down to a short list: a battery that gave up in the heat, a flat tyre, an empty tank, or keys locked inside. Roadside assistance sends a technician to the car to deal with the cause where it stopped, on a highway shoulder, in a basement, outside a school or at home.

Batteries are our core work, so a no-start gets a proper test first: battery, starter draw and alternator output. If a jump start is enough, you drive away. If the battery has failed, a matching one is fitted on the spot. If the fault is elsewhere, we say so and arrange a tow to a garage.

Is roadside assistance really available 24/7?

Yes. Calls and WhatsApp messages are answered day and night, including weekends and public holidays. Arrival time is not fixed. It depends on where you are, traffic, access to the car and what is needed, and you are given an estimate before the technician sets off.

What should I send when I ask for help?

Your location pin, the road name and direction of travel, the car make, model and year, and a short description of what happened. For a car in a building, add the parking level and any height limit. A photo of the dashboard or the battery label helps.

My car will not start. Is it the battery?

Often, but not always. Slow cranking, clicking and dim lights point to the battery. A starter, alternator, fuel or immobiliser fault can look similar. The technician tests before replacing anything, and if the battery is healthy you are told where the fault lies.

Do I need a membership, and how do I pay?
