What to know
The FAW V77 and its 12V battery
Later FAW V77 model years may have start-stop or a battery sensor that controls charging. Where they do, the replacement has to be the same type (EFB or AGM) and may need registering to the car.
Petrol models use maintenance-free flooded batteries, moving to EFB or AGM where start-stop is fitted. Hybrid and electric variants have a small 12V auxiliary battery.
Under the bonnet on petrol models. Because fitment varies by year and trim, a photo of the battery label is the reliable way to match it.

How it works
From your location pin to a car that starts
Four steps, and you know what is happening at each one. Nothing is fitted until the battery has been tested.
- 1
Share where the car is
Send a location pin with the road name, direction of travel and the nearest exit or landmark. In a basement, add the level and bay.
- 2
Confirm the car details
Make, model and year, plus a photo of the battery label if you can. That is how the right battery gets loaded.
- 3
Get an arrival estimate
We check access and technician availability, then tell you when to expect us before anyone sets off.
- 4
Test, then jump or replace
The technician tests the battery, explains the reading and carries out a jump start or a replacement. The car is started before he leaves.

Questions
FAW V77 battery questions
Short answers to what drivers ask before and during a battery call-out.
Which battery fits a FAW V77?
It depends on the model year and engine. Send the year and a photo of the current battery label, and we match the size, terminal layout and technology before dispatch.
Where is the battery on a FAW V77?
For FAW in general: Under the bonnet on petrol models. The exact position on your FAW V77 can vary by generation, and the technician confirms it from the model year before starting.
Does a FAW V77 need battery registration after a change?
For FAW: Confirmed by model and year. If your FAW V77 needs it, the technician brings the tool and does it on site after fitting.
Can you jump-start a FAW V77 instead of replacing the battery?
Often, yes. If the battery is only discharged and tests healthy afterwards, a jump start is enough. If the test shows it can no longer hold charge, we explain the reading and can replace it on the spot.
